STYLING & PHOTOGRAPHY

My interest in food styling and photography began in 2012 when I started my award-winning food blog Homegrown Kitchen. I have since contributed images to publications and magazines including Next Magazine, NZ Listener, North & South, NZ House & Garden, MiNDFOOD, Good Magazine, Little Treasures, The Natural Parent and Wild Tomato. I also styled and photographed the majority of the recipe and garden images in my new cookbook, Homegrown Kitchen – Everyday Recipes for Eating Well.

I regularly work with food businesses to capture product/recipe imagery either as food and prop stylist alongside a professional photographer. Or depending on the scope of the project I can provide the whole package, including recipe development, styling and photography.

Businesses I work with include:

  • Progressive Supermarkets
  • Talley’s Group
  • Healtheries
  • Barker’s of Geraldine
  • Chantal Organics
  • Country Trading Co.
  • NZ Avocado
  • Heartland Group
  • Soy Works
  • NZ Tourism

Please contact me to discuss your recipe development, food styling and/or photography projects. Email: nicola@homegrown-kitchen.co.nz
