FOOD WRITING

I have been working as a freelance foodwriter for over 12 years supplying recipes to publications and magazines including Stuff.co.nz., Mindfood, Next, Good Health, Good Magazine, Little Treasures, Wild Tomato, and The Natural Parent. I am also the author of four cookbooks including recently released Homegrown Kitchen – Everyday Recipes for Eating Well (Potton & Burton, April 2017).

I regularly work with food businesses to create content and develop recipes, plus capturing beautiful styled imagery if required. See styling and photography for more details.

My food focus is on using healthful pantry staples with an emphasis on eating with the seasons and using local produce. I specialise in allergy sensitive recipes including gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free, drawing on my nutrition knowledge (dip. Nutrition).
